Step Right Up Ma'am!

By Owdman
Stock Yards Fort Worth, my wife Jane is being enticed onto the steer. Shot against the sun, so quite a bit of work done in the RAW file to bring out the shadows. I've put up the colour version too, I couldn't make my mind up which I preferred and a portrait of the cowboy too. He actually owned a Canon 5D Mk III as well and we had a chat about lenses before I was dragged away!

She didn't go far on him then !!
I like both the colour and the black and white, and sometimes its worth uploading them on different days as both are strong and interesting images, and worth seeing in their own right rather than comparing them.

Now that's what I call a Long Horn. Lovely capture.

I guess this cowboy earns a good living with his stationary Longhorn,if he's shooting a Canon 5D Mk 111 Smile.Excellent series with a strong portrait of the cowboy, and a well done to your wife, for getting on the saddle of the Longhorn.

cheers

B/w for me, I find the background tree a bit too distracting in the colour version. Like V2, made me smile.

Brave lady Smile, I hope you kept your feet firmly planted Norm.
The magnificent longhorn looks decidedly unimpressed.Smile
