Lovely image Kathy but have to strongly disagree that there's no change, they have pulled all the posts out in front of the crumbling houses which in my honest opinion made Happisburgh so characterful for photography, now when you go for a sun rise you have a blank page in front of you.

I personally am gutted they did that, ok clean up but don't destroy it.

Thank you all Smile

There is still much to photograph at Happisburgh Ian... If anything I found it easier to get a good composition, and there are still plenty of structures left if you're after the crashing wave thing...

Agree Kathy but there is much to photograph anywhere all i am saying is that they have destroyed what was a fantastic place to photograph now it's a place that in my opinion is no different to the shores like southwold, or any place for that matter, where as before it was totally unique and when a photo came up on here of Happisburgh you knew instantly it was happisburgh.

Don't mean to sound rude but that's my opinion.

I have photos on the official Happisburgh website which you can clearly see the devastation and uniqueness of the place that is/ was Happisburgh.

Nothing against your photo it is superb in every way and looks wonderful in mono.
