These pretty white flowers are found in stinging nettles in Uk . they where found in the wooded and field areas in grassland. the leaves are what give you a sting. a dock leaf will ease the sting if you are ever stung. they are usually bigger leafed and found growing near stinging nettles.
Nettles are rich in vitamin C. They help increase red blood cell count by improving circulation.
The nettle's sting is completely removed when cooked.
If pound well with mortar and pestle leaves can be eaten raw.
The string is meant to be effective in counteracting arthritis and rheumatism. Tender young leaves on top are best. Also wear a good pair of rubber gloves when collecting them to avoid being stung.
You use the same way as you would spinach. Make a tea or soup. Eat in a omelette.
Our old dog used to eat them ,they helped his arthritis so if your dog is eating them as well ,they may well have arthritis or rheumatism, he naturally ate them . so I did some research to find out why.
