i was thinking just wondering about taking pictures at stonehenge and thought that i hadn't seen any pitures posted of the subject! you have captured a great deal here! but meybe a sunset or sunrise would give you better colours! it looks overcast! did it rain much today?

It was dry, but a bit grey and overcast. This was my first visit for a 'recce' and I am planning to return for a sunset some time soon.

Great image, tried a suggested modification to b and w. This is great though.

Stonehenge is a wonderful place to photograph however when the weather is grey it does not bring out the best in the stones. the b+w idea is a good one

like the rest of the portfolio by the way

Nick, I like the B/w mod. I may upload one of the other shots as b/w later.

John, as you say the weather can be a problem.

Thanks for the comments.
