I like this image, especially as there is about a 50 metre cordon to stop people chipping bits off for souvenirs.
The new theories, which aren't actually that new, make my brain gears crunch, where do these pointy headed pencil chewing types get this info? OK there is a lot more knowledge now than back in time, and a lot of them armed with charts and screens and imagination. Perhaps the boffins should use other writing instruments to chew on, ok, plumb hasn't been used in centuries for pencils, but it does have a wide array of symptoms.

I like the crop and the mono. It makes the clouds feel lower and the image more claustrophobic then the monument is nowadays. I'm old enough to have been up close and personal. That was a cold day!
