Another from my few days in the Lakes.
This is Castlerigg Stone Circle near Keswick.
It wasn't raining so there were quite a few people around.
The timing of this shot was critical as there are actually people in the picture - they are just behind the stones. If I deleted a stone there would be a rambler behind it Wink

I'm pleased with the outcome of this one, I like the composition of it.

I've just downloaded and deleted a stone and your are right! there is someone there Smile

Great shot, nice detail on the stones and terrific scenery

Ah Castlerigg! Thought I recognised this! Last time I was there, most of the field resembled a marsh...

Anyway, really nice shot; I particularly like the angle and the panoramic crop.

Like your viewpoint / grouping and crop with this. The light could have been better but you have made the best of what you had.
Use a tripod, ND filter & long shutter speed to avoid the (moving) people, or wait till they have gone - but of course that's when the sheep invade!

Nice shot, went to castlerigg last year camping on my own, got some nice shots myself, must do something with them. Nicely seen. glen x
