Storm Clouds Over Bredon Hill

By DicksPics
Today's images were taken a couple of days ago from the Worcestershire Beacon, one of the wonderful Malvern Hills.

I was looking across the flooded Severn Valley towards Bredon Hill. Worcester was to my left and Upton-upon-Severn to my right.

The scale of the devastation can be seen in the panoramic final version.

Goodness knows when the rain is going to stop - my heart goes out to everyone who has been so badly affected by the storms and subsequent floods.

Many thanks for all votes, comments and awards(PMs sent) for my 'St. Mary Magdalene Church, Croome' upload - much appreciated, as always.SmileSmile

I hope you have a good weekend.

Excellent broad sweeping landscape taking in the flooded area. Quite a disaster and still more rain to come.
I like V2 the panorama version.

Great set Richard we all have a moan about the weather, but those poor people suffering the floods are the real victims!

After a wet start, it's now glorious sunshine here in Wakefield! Probably won't last, though... 😎 A fine trio here, Richard, does look to be raining quite heavy under that big mucky cloud.. 🌧

Great images of the storm and flood. Tried walking along the coast but that is flooded! A large tree came down on next doors property. Having the trees inspected another 7 have been taken down. Not so much of a woodland anymore. Such a shame. I too hope it stops raining.
So Beautiful !
