Strathclyde Loch

By Jmag60
Drone shot of Strathclyde Loch.
A bitterly cold day with occasional sunny spells and no wind, we went to Strathclyde Park to fly the drone (for practice) only got in the air for about 10 minutes before the drone was being “mobbed” by crows so gave up for a wee while. Sad
Tried again with no birds anywhere to be seen.... mobbed again and just gave up and went home!!!!
Didn't want to any birds to get injured attacking the strange interloper and I didn't want the drone lost or damaged!

Thanks to all that have taken the time to view, vote, comment and given UA's on my previous uploads. All very much appreciated.

Stay safe,
John

Amazing drone problems---and some very fine results despite your interlopers!

What a lovely image John. This drone works well. Birds attacking a drone. I would love to see an image of that something I would not have thought of the birds doing that. Keep persisting John. Debs

A good view, with a nice evening sky. I never thought of drones being attacked by birds, it something you never read about. It would probably be worse at the seaside with the aggressive gulls! You are doing well with your Drone, John, pilot licence next? Glad to give you No.30!

Excellent capture John and the tones and light are beautiful. I wonder if the birds were getting ready to roost and thought the drone was a predator?

Hope you keep this type of photography up, bet you'll get some great snowscapes.

A beautiful photo, John. I don’t think about a drone being attacked by crows…what a thought.
