Composition is really hard on a screen, but it still matters.

This is mostly rather good, but I really wish you'd included all of that white plate in the frame.

Cutoff of the man behind doesn't matter, and it's good that he's shadowy, while the plate is brightly lit. A spotlight effect, putting the emphasis firmly on the food as subject.

Have you used a filter? There's some rather nasty greyness on the plate, which I reckon is either a filter, or some overdone burning-in.

You might want ot have a look at the article I wrote a while back about using a mobile for serious pictures, HERE.

I am with John on this one.
That cut off plate is really distracting, lowering your phone would have sorted that out and the pink/magenta strip on the right is another distraction.
Maybe a couple of steps to your right would have helped and you could still have kept some of the people in the bg.
I assume the plate is shiny paper stuff, which looks like it was over exposed there and you have helped it along a little.

Food looks tasty though and Johns' link is worth a read.

I felt that I had seen something like this before, so went looking and found a very similar image that you uploaded in June 2017. Again, the plate needed a bit more space, but the exposure is so much better and it doesn't look as if you did much post-processing on it, if any at all.

I wonder if you cropped the bottom of the plate on this one because you were holding this out and your hand or hands were showing at the bottom, as in the previous image? With the absence of Exif Data, I can't tell if you took this at the same time as the other one, but it looks likely.

The idea is a good one, especially having the vendor in the blurred background. But you had a problem with bright light in this one, which you can see clearly on the sandwich contents. Finding a shaded area would have been a good idea, or choosing a time of day that was less bright.

Yes, I remember the previous upload.

I do like this, the combination of detail and candid, it gives a real flavour (so to speak... ) of the street.

Having clipped the bottom of the plate, I suggest a tighter crop there to make the cut-off look intentional. The splodge of red sauce is less interesting that the sandwich above, after all.

I have also warmed colour at bit, lightened shadows slightly, and brightened. I think I could have pushed that further. Modification uploaded.
