Streets of India 1

By himalk
Chennai, India.

Rickshaws are a common sight in this part of Chennai. Although I never tried traveling in one, I was fascinated by the sight of so many rickshaws going here and there...
In the old days, they didn't have this tricycle-type pedaling rickshaw. The rickshaw-person had to drag the carriage and run.

Maybe the rickshaw was introduced to India by the British during the colonial days? I'm not sure...

Good shot. Like the angle. Next time you have a chance, take a ride, it's an amazing experience, a rickety thing like that with a huge truck going past it!!

Great shot. I might have tried zooming out a little so the wheels and the back of the rickshaw were all captured. This was does really focus ont eh driver though.
Nice one!
