V2 has a nice little bee on it. Both great shots.
These are both lovely, Herman. I prefer the composition in V1, but I cannot resist the wasp (?) in V2. Great capture.

I love wasp too so my favourite has to be V2.

My Dutch friend Marijke had these in her garden here in Spain and they are enormous!

Very interesting, there is one near us and I always thought it was a banana. V2 for me mainly because of the bee.

Both look great to me Herman - never seen one of these before although I can see the close relation to the Bird of Paradise. Great shots. Smile

Morning H. Unusual flower with an unusual name, V1 looks like a crazy sailboat, V2 like a bird pecking away at the stem.
(or perhaps i'm bonkers and just seeing things). Either way, nice work mate.

You have done well to control the exposure so well against that bright sky Herman - would have been easy to underexpose
