Stripping the Cinammon Bark

By Buffalo_Tom
As a follow up to yesterday's picture I was taken on a tour of this little workplace in the South of Sri Lanka where Cinammon Trees are stripped of the bark and again powder and oils are produced. None of the trees are wasted and they are stripped and cut to make ornaments and shutters.
The picture depicts the first stages of the process.
Thank you
