strolling across

By clevercloggs
Tried to capture fleeting pigeons and was hoping that more birds would fly up when some one would stroll across their area. That was not the case as the photo shows. Happy with the dof and the toning. What do you think?

Notice that most pigeons are hiding in the shade from the scorching sun. :-(

Good photo Robert. I like the idea with the flying pigeons in the fg. gives the whole scene a more spontaneous feel.
and, did the man make it without getting bombed ?
and did you ? Smile

thank you all for your clicks and that on an early saturday morning. Smile

Koen, as is usual lately i arrived after the event. Some one seems to be feeding these pigeons and that is why they are there. The feeding just happened before I arrived and the few pigeons around were picking up the last grains.

it was around 1 PM and really hot (upwards from 40 degrees) and hardly anyone walks that time of day. So I had to wait a while before any one came. This was the best of the few passers by I could capture.

And no i was not bombed, I waited in my car with the airco turned on at the max. Smile

Good shot! Those birds look quite intimidating.

Koen, I had to have the window open in order to take the photo so the heat was pouring in.
so you could say I was suffering to a degree. Smile

Moira; good one, we should call the movie "the arabian birds". Smile
