Suitably quirky for Silly Sunday.
The Book Palace shop on the corner of Palace Street and King street, part of the King's Mile, Canterbury.
The quote above the entrance says "...a very old house bulging out over the road...leaning, forward, trying to see who was passing on the narrow pavement below..." Charles Dickens, 1849.

Quite a find, Keith. Is the house of the Crooked Man?

"There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house"

"lean on me, when you're not strong ..." But in this case, there is only so much you can ask. Looks as if the
upper storey's are straight enough but the lower guy just has too much on his old shoulders. I'm surprised it's not been condemned.

Fantastic shot, great building wonderfully captured.
Reminds me of a layer cake I made once. It didn't end well. Nice capture.

The ground floor is leaning - very appropriately - like the books on a book shelf when one is removed...

Great capture shows off the flaws (or should that be floors!) of the build well

Cracking capture this Keith, as a joiner I wouldn’t fancy installing new windows in that building. For a start the level would be thrown back in the toolbox lol
