Suburban grey heron

By voyger1010
This Heron flies over my house in the Midlands, UK, every so often.
Looking to raid the Goldfish ponds around the neighbourhood. It is very much the local wanton killer and has been known to take 24 fish in one session. It doesn't eat them all, but leaves some of the dead ones on the roofs of the houses. It is as though the goldfish swimming about in the ponds somehow upsets it.
I call it Rambo, but I am not sure of whether it is Male or female, but when it lands in the garden, you would think it was an adult person, it's that tall
Managed to get his mugshot with my Nikon A900 at full zoom, as it sat about 300yds away on top of a very tall fir tree, surveying where to go next.,
Thankfully it wasn't my garden!!!
