I agree with Steve, I know photography is about capturing images, it should be enjoyable and if necessary Photo Journalistic, this is neither.

in your write up you already tell us ifs a negative image,
Personally I think its a good image
and may be you should change the title, to be more ambiguous,
I think we have to look at new raw talent in a new light perhaps,
after all the young one are the future,

There are more types of photography than enjoyable and photo journalistic, some people can enjoy a wide range of photography. Plus you only have to watch the news and you can see alot worse than i have taken here, and how boring would the world be if there was only nice happy photos, we would be living a disney life.
