Sorry, can't help you with the name of the fungus.
Whatever sort it is you have captured it well. The fungus is well exposed and nice and sharp. I also like the colours and textures of the tree it is growing on.
It is good also that the fungus follows the direction of the grain of the wood, from top left to bottom right. The little stalk in the middle ground is also important in giving the picture depth. The fungi at the bottom right are a bit of a distraction as they pull the eye away from the main scene, but I guess it is difficult to isolate a group in just the right place.

I believe it is Silver Tuft, - and its very poisonous, - dont eat them!
There is a greenish colour cast to the image, - not sure if the white balance is right, - on auto mode it can sometimes be a little off.
Ive corrected this in a mod.
Its also a little soft, needs to be sharpened somewhat for uploading.
Ive also suggested a closer crop in the mod, - and removed the bottom right caps, - I understand the idea of the stop, but I dont think they contribute much, and may actually distract from the main focal point.
Mod is cropped, sharpened, colour corrected, and desaturated a little.
Hope this is helpful,
Regards
Willie
