Hello, I have done you a mod, Nice image, very colourful. I have given it a crop, then I altered the exposure a little and the colour, giving more blue and red, I felt the yellow flower was a bit too yellow and too bright which was loosing the detail in the petals. I adjusted the contrast and gave it a sharpen. Hope you like it.

The yellow daisy is lovely, Averil, and although I also like the berries, I feel they look somewhat odd in that horizontal position at the bottom of the frame, and touching the bottom frame edge. Yes, it's an unusual group, as you say, almost looking like the berry bits are the leaves of the daisy.
Your aperture of f2.8 would probably have been okay for the daisy alone, but the left-hand yellow berries have lost definition, so a smaller aperture would have proved useful here.
Because I find the background a little fussy, the daisy facing the wrong way (don't ask me exactly why, but because we read from left to right, flowers that face to the right seem to be more pleasing), and the berries at a strange angle, I have tried one of my own flower manipulations on this little group, and hope you don't mind my self-indulgence, I enjoyed doing it (see modification).
Pamela.
PS: Had second thoughts and lengthened the daisy stem (see mod 2).

Thanks Pamela for the lovely mods but this was taken while walking in the veld. Nature does not always allow any changes and I tried to get the best shot while climbing through the scrub to get to it because it had caught my eye. Also thank to Hermanus and Fefe for their in put.

The main bloom needs tobe on the right of the image with space in front of it. A strong bright image, though.

It was well worth climbing through the scrub for, Averil, and the combination is quite unusual.
Thankyou for the opportunity to have a play with your picture.
Pamela.
