Summer's Hope

By beckas
I had the honour of shooting with model Jesse Kru again a few weeks ago. Here is one of the images that I took during the shoot.

Two versions are posted. I think that I like the cropped version the best.

12 Aug update: Model Jesse Kru now lives in the UK. She would like to schedule some shoots! She is very beautiful, fantastic at posing, energetic, and so much fun to work with. Any interested togs, please message me and I will provide you with her e-mail address. Smile

i'm not sure what the blue streaks around her head are there for Becka? plus the focus seems to be on her dress rather than her eyes, apart from that i like this uncropped best Smile

Thanks all! Smile

Thank you Steve for the UA. It is an honour.

Thanks Jo for the critique. The blue streaks are weeds. I probably should have chosen a shallow DOF so that they wouldn't be there. Oh well. I'm not sure about the focus. I didn't notice a problem, but now that you've pointed it out, perhaps there is. I always use selectve focus on the eyes, however, my camera sometimes has a mind of it's own, so perhaps it decided to mis-behave for this image. It wouldn't be the first time, LOL.

Very beautiful model and fabulous capture. I prefer V2, she seems more earthy or something. V1 is all eyes and beautiful face. But love it too, only V2 a little more............Sandy

Wow! Although I agree with Kitsch about those bluey weeds being a bit weird I am assuming it's part of an overlay on the sky, so I am cool with that. The lighting is sublime Smile

Personal preference is for the full length portrait.

Congrats on the HC!

Cheers, Goggz

I like V2. Contrary to some, I like the weed in the top portion of the shots-they add a touch of duality Soft, and beautiful, but also a bit -I'm struggling for words here- Gothic?
Great shot!

I'm looking for focussing problems but for the life of me can't see any. She's beautiful, your lighting's spot-on and your editing is enviable although I personally would not go that far, probably because i don't know how to lol!
