sunday clouds??

By NEWMANP
sunday mornings Peak meeting, and as the team WASP gather on Higger facing plain blue sky to the east, some of us went to Carrhead where the western sky was full of fluffy white clouds!!! and the first light reaches over the horizon and clips the dramatically located knucklestone which is encircled by Ian, Graham and Carol all waiting for that perfect second, i dive in between them, grab my shot and run.
lol Smile

1/30, f6.3, tripod, 5 stops grad, iso 100, av -0.65ev

Aha! so thats where it all was! LOL!
I like the dappled light here Phil, on the Knucklestone and on the distant hillside.

The filter worked well then , lovely cloud detail and really like the light on the f/g. would love to be near enough to go on one of these jaunts as it sounds as if you all had a great time

How did you manage to get that cloud background to stand up on that rough ground??

Wish it had been like that!

I think I prefer the colour in V2, but this is one of my favourite places on the moor - the rocks are so much more natural, less foot-worn. Carol
