Sundays Montage

By Billyray
Took me quite a while to get this as I wanted it, hope it meets with your approval.

Thank's for taking the time to look, and many thanks for all your comments on my 'Dahlia' upload. Special thanks go to EAS (Ann) for her user award, I was highly delighted.

Wonderful montage Billy(not sure whether to call you billy or Ray).
You've obviously put a lot of effort into this.
Individually they'd all get my vote but collectively
they make a superb flower collection.

Your time was well spent in compiling this, Ray, and they are fun to do.
It can be difficult to decide on the positioning of the flowers, especially ones of the same colour, but randomness often looks best.
The flower bottom right is very blurred, and spoils the montage for me. The flower bottom right is a bis "messy", too, and so I feel it might have been better to use 9 images instead of 12, possibly also eliminating the white narcissus. Balance is also an issue when doing work like this, and the red rose could do with a bit more background, to match the rest.
I hope you don't mind me picking your work to bits like this, Ray, but it seems a shame to spoil your work with a few mismatches, when it could be so good without them, especially if you chose to print it and put it on the wall.

tend to agree with Pamela on this one
I think the bottom line could have been left out
9 seems a nicer no.
But what a wonderful montage... great work

I too tend to agree that omitting the bottom row would make the montage that bit more pleasing on all levels, Ray.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Having looked at it again I see that you are right and I will be more careful in what I choose to include in my next attempt.

I'm impressed by the care you've put into this montage. There are many excellent images within the whole and it has been beautifully done but I do have to confess my eye went immediately to the red on the bottom RH side which as others have said is blurred. Having read other comments, probably have to go along with the "reduce to 9" idea, but wish I knew how to have a go at something like this!

A nice montage here with plenty to look at.
