"Sunrise at Murlough"

By DavidLaverty

I went out to Murlough Bay yesterday morning with the intentions of getting the classic sunrise shot that everyone does with the little tree overlooking the bay. When I got there there was a wall of cloud on the horizon and when it reached sunrise time nothing was happening. I shot a couple of frames and with no nice light the images were looking very lack-lustre so I decided to head back home. By the time I got to the car things had started to change and heading back up the road I stopped as the sun broke through the cloud. I jumped out to grab this image where the light was fantastic if very short lived, it certainly made up for the early rise and the journey out.
