Sunrise over Arkle...

By Scottishlandscapes
...another reflection image from Sutherland quiet and tranquil, just the birds in the background or the very occasional 30ton truck. It's fine when one fills your rear view mirror on a twisty bit.

Super reflection as always, The warm colours in the fg and the cold in the bg gives a sense of temperatures if you were to climb to the top ... but I'm beyond testing that theory.

It's a geologists paradise, there are cliffs where the land slipped and heaved to incredible angles. Volcanic action happened all the time Millions of years ago, it must have been a dangerous place had we been there, but man came along much later.

Sorry Malcolm I'm off on a blether again.

I imagine Midges are getting back at us for building on their wet lands as soon as we crawled out of the sea.

My options for comment are now severely limited...
Male midges don't bite so I hear.
