I went up to the lake district for a meeting with a colleague and I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone (and nearly myself in the process!). I set off from the midlands at 4am and arrived in the lakes at 6:45am. I then proceeded to climb Gummers How in the dark and with a howling wind driving into me and finally made it to the top at around 7:15am, with just enough time to set up my tripod. Even with the tripod and my bag weighting things down, the tripod still vibrated really badly.
So, freezing cold, half dead from the climb (sooo unfit) I took a series of shots in an attempt to make recreate a panoramic that I'd seen. Whilst it's probably not a winner, I still really like it, especially the colours in the sky and foreground. Hope you like it too.
