Sunrise over the lake Cerkinca - addition to yesterdays photo https://www.ephotozine.com/user/yebach-334743/gallery/photo/sunset-trough-the-trees-62134561.

I just used some basic LR modifications - crop, contrast and lifted shadows.

Its a nice image. I like the jet trail, it almost has a mirror in that snaking bright piece in the lake below.

Youve used a shade white balance to warm it, which I modified in the mod to be less warm, while increasing saturation.

I would brighten it a little more, - all done in the mod.

It's a lovely restful, calming image. That slightly apricot tinted light is beautiful - cold but with a promise of warmth to come.

Three thoughts. To my eye this needs a small anti-clockwise rotation - the far edge of the water may recede away from the camera which will give the illusion of a tilt, but the mist will hang level on the water so that's what you need to refer to when straightening.

It's also slightly underexposed I think, and with an extra half stop and a bit of brightness there's a much better sense of clarity and glow.

Plus, what is the subject? The real interest for me is the vapour trail in the sky - that means movement, life, there are human beings up there...; and its wonderfully squiggly reflection.

So two modifications added, the first has a slight rotation and some lightening; the second is a portrait crop, and that's how I want to see this. It creates a much stronger relationship between the vapour trail and its reflection by directing the eye to move up and down rather than horizontally.

This is completely different to your previous upload, Vid, a wider view and without the sun in the frame. The mist and the contrail are the interesting elements for me.

When looking for a good sunset shot, it's great to have water and a reflection of the sunset sky, but this really needed a few clouds and some extra colour. So minimising it, as Moira has done, is a good idea.

I hope you have seen my last comment on your previous shot, answering your question.

If you feel there are dead areas at the bottom and (particularly) the top, crop to an even more extreme letterbox format...

Hi Vid, a lovely tranquil scene, the reflection of the jet trail is a really good addition to this.
There is quite a bit of wasted space top and bottom so I cropped in quite hard, moved the jet trail and opened the shadow areas a little.
Just brightened a touch, not much, otherwise you would lose the gentle atmosphere here.
The inclusion of the rising mist is great.
