Sunset at Ogwen

Many thanks to everyone who liked, commented and gave User Awards to my last image called Morning Glow at Elterwater in the lakes. This image was captured at last light in the Ogwen Valley, Snowdonia. I had packed up and heading down the valley when I saw the end of a sunset in the valley behind the Ogwen Valley. The water on the cascades was at a good level giving the image a great bit of contrast. Thanks for looking!

Tryfan doesn't look very big here but as anyone who has been up it, it is a never ending scramble. Typical Welsh colours here.

A great 'mountainscape' picture! The composition really draws my eye in, particularly the water flowing out of the right-hand corner of the frame and leading toward the impressive triangular peak. Bob
