Sunset on Wheat Haversting

By Disee
Thank you all so much for all your lovely comments on my two previous uploads on wheat harvesting.

This is the 3rd image and probably my favourite of all three.
I had my 10 year old granddaughter with me with my little Pentax X-5 who loves her Macro photography and had great fun with this camera. I usually let her use my Canon 450D with a Macro lens but we discovered this little camera does just as good job.
Bless her though, she was so concerned with my running around the field in front of and behind the moving Combine to catch good angles she kept shouting out to me to get out of the way.

I am so proud of her earnest enthusiasm so I hope you don't mind my adding a photo of her taking pictures and one of her macro shots in Versions. No post adjustments done on her image.

Helps being shorter to get as low as that for a picture(V1)!
Your lead is great and the versions are very good.

Another photographer in the making. I do the same thing with my grandchildren when they come to visit. Love this image, wonderful light and dust working together.

Beautiful shot !!....lovely quality in this rural corker !.Grin

I might be inclined to crop about 20% off the top, for a slightly stronger image ?....scroll the
image upwards on your screen to see the effect......just a thought ?.Smile

Yes, thank you very much. You are absolutely right and can't think why I didn't think of that as it puts the horizon correctly 1/3 from the top.
