With the large space below deck Sandy,
it might have been some sort of ferry at one time !!
Like the grotty FG here.
Good shot.

I knew this would be yours Sandy as soon as I saw it.
It brings back memories of seeing the seals hitching rides
on the log hauls pulled by the tugs.
Great lighting here and reflection of it off the water…….

I don't know what's more interesting - the sealions or the boats! A super image full of interest.

Lovely lighting, Sandy, and two points of interest, with the seals pointing up to the boat.

Like the seals in the foregrond, good composition here a bit crisper and sharper, and this would be a real winner.

The boat looks as old as Noah's Ark! Amazing it's still floating. Smile Nicely placed seals in the f/g.

I too thought Noah's Ark when I saw that boat! A great shot, Sandy - the two seals in the centre seem to be interested in the passing traffic and the other two seem totally unconcerned Wink

They love basking in the sun as much as most humans do, Sandy. Gorgeous animals.

Seems the seals love their man made island. I think Mick is spot on with the old boat, no clues as to what it's used for now.

Excellent shot Sandy the seals look well content, and that strange looking ship is more like a big house boat.

A lovely shot with nice foreground and background. Looks like you woke the seals up Grin. Well done. WesternRed.

That float looks similar to the metal floats at Fanny Bay and that camp barge or whatever, is really amazing. All that blue smoke and the light is ideal. Seems later than 2-3pm. Interesting total image. TG
