Maybe softening the whole image overall? I like this. It reminds me of something my husband once made for me. Smile

You've taken trouble over the assembly, Aura, and it looks good with the sparkling white hearts on the light background and the red velvet surround.

A few thoughts:-
What if the white background had also been heart-shaped?
A square format with more red velvet all around?

Things I might change in this image:-
Remove the triangle bottom left, an edge of the material.
Add canvas to the bottom so that a greeting could be put in.
Clone out the string at the top.

Your focus seems to be on the velvet at the bottom rather than on the red heart. I wonder if the heart is suspended, as opposed to being laid down, and it was swinging a bit?
The little white hearts aren't too visible, but would probably be more visible when this is printed larger. The little red heartss that are on the large red heart are hardly visible at all. How about having red hearts on the white background and white stars on the large red heart? They would be far more noticeable then.
You have a source of light coming in from the top, which has slightly degraded the heart and taken away some of its colour, just at the top.

My modifications:-
The heart is just a touch out of alignment, which I corrected, using the top centre and bottom centre as a guide, then I cropped the right side to get symmetry at the sides.
I cropped the top, added canvas to the bottom, and added a message.
I brightened the image and did a Levels adjustment, then sharpened.
I removed the string from the top, and the velvet triangle from the bottom.

I rather think such umages are for the author to see, in effect. Obe persons idea is not going to be anothers. There is the ground for a good card there as it stands.

For me, possibly a bit of diffusion wirh a brightness boost but it is very personal.

I love the heart, but the overall composition seems a bit over-complicated for the purpose, I would steer towards clean simplicity. The red heart against the white background, with the very subtle texture layer of little shimmery hearts. (That is a really beautiful device!) A square crop with a narrow red border. No velvet, no string. And focus on the top surface of the heart.
