Quote:A lovely scene. Just one suggestion - I think this needs rotating a wee bit clockwise. It's not so much the shoreline, which can be deceptive; but reflections always drop down vertically. It's worth checking such shots against the grid. I hope you won't be offended by that.
Water is always level…that’s the simplest way to check level when you have water in the picture. The water line in the background should be horizontal. Reflections of things that lean over (such as some of the trees on the left of the image) will not appear to drop down vertically…only things that are vertical should appear vertical in a reflection.
Lovely image regardless of the slope

Just for clarification. While water is always level, a shoreline may not be horizontal in the frame if it is not parallel with the camera.
Reflections always drop straight down to balance their source. So a tilting tree will have a reflection tilting back at the same angle to vertical. That's what happens in the centre of the frame at least - use of wide angle will distort reflections towards the edges of the frame.
