Surfs Up

A shot of blurred holiday-makers taken this time last year during a family holiday. They were enjoying the warm Summer sun, beach and sea at Cromer. The yellow paddleboard was being used by some surfers giving lessons. Looking forward to going back there the end of this month.
As I was left to look after our belongings while the rest of my family hit the sea, I decided to rest my camera on the nearest groin. An ND200 filter was used to blur the action.

I really love the blur. The overall effect seems to me like heat haze increasing with distance, far more summery than it probably was.

Thanks Bill. I do remember it was one of those rare Summer days that was really hot. Don't think I used a Summer profile in Adobe Camera Raw but my edit must have increased the blues. Oh, and thanks for the UA.

I love the blur, with the shot anchored by the surfboard and the stand. Unusual, creative and very effective.

I love this, the colours work so well and the added blur makes for an interesting image.
