Shot captured last April while out birding at our local nature reserve.
I got hold of this female Mallard in my viewfinder tracking it as it flew in low over the creek ..... shooting a rapid burst as it hovered down to land, had to be quick, nimble and steady to achieve a good freeze ..... my gear delivering well here. I chose this frame as the best of the lot ..... nicely suspended in mid air.
Viewing large looks better.
