A commissioned image for the Sussex Downs Conservation Board who manage and mantain the South Downs AONB (now a National Park). I used to volunteer for them on a regular basis before being employed by them as a part time Ranger. It was at this time I commissioned by them to take a collection of images for them of Rangers and volunteers at work.
All my photographs are developed and printed by me in the darkroom. All images are framed in the camera at the time of taking and no cropping whatsoever takes place during printing. I have been using the same 24mm lens since around 1989 as well as the same make of camera - A nikkormat.
I am currently working on self publishing a book of landscapes called 'West of the Sun' and am looking for funding for the book and accompanying exhibition. Please visit my website for more information, to view further images or to read my news and blog section.
Thanks.
