I have opened with the shot with the 'Aaaaaah' factor, Ansel wearing his swimming hat (a new development this week) and giving me the 'How can you do this to me mummy' look. I have chosen this one from this week's session in a blatant attempt to grab attention. The rest were taken last week, before the swimming hat indignity. The rather stylish bathrobe was last week's bonus.
Please be assured that Ansel was not harmed or even mildly traumatised during these photo shoots!
These images were captured at The Canine Health and Hydro Centre in Lancashire where we are trying to help him overcome his fear of water. This is very necessary if I am going to be able to walk him by the canal with confidence because the cyclists who ride on the towpath on the way to and from Leeds are lunatic enough to terrify me into jumping in, let alone nervy Ansel.
The location of the centre is picturesque so I have included some landscape shots. It is within sight of the famous Pendle Hill that you can see in the background of some of the landscape shots. Our trips over the Penines thus far have been characterised by foul weather episodes, snow, hail and gale force winds. In these images you can see snow and fascinating skies.
Thank you for viewing and I hope that you enjoy at least some of these images.
