There's a lot to like apart from the very appropriate processing. She's heading against the arrow (love that), and then there's that diagonal feeding in from bottom right. Everything counter-intuitive, which gives a jolt to the brain.

That is exactly how I saw it Moira. The eye goes from bottom right towards her then follows the arrow to the big 3. She is moving against it !
It is what it is, Tony, no point in trying to tart it up and look like something it isn't. Rather do as here and emphasize its roughness and starkness.
Yes, the ideal processing, Tony and the human element working very well too.
Reminds me of when I first went into the Bullring Centre, Birmingham, 1972 / 73, a concrete maze.
