Award Shortlist

We've all seen pictures of buffaloes or giraffes with oxpeckers cleaning ticks off them and both parties benefit. Iíd never seen an event quite like this however. This solitary old warthog trudged slowly out of the bush to this clearing at the same time every afternoon to meet a family of banded mongooses. He lay down and then didnít move for the next half hour while the mongooses probed his most delicate parts, into his ears, eyelids etc. Not a twitch. When the job was completed he got to his feet and slowly wandered off. Next day they were all there again.

Many thanks to Mike (Mike_Smith), Dale, (Ian), bobpaige1 (Bob), PhilT2 (Philip), Mike 905 (Mike), af1 (Alan) and frogs123 (Debs) for your recent awards.
