Table Top Accident

By brian1208
Just for fun. I deleted my first attempt as it took on a very odd greyish blue tint when I uploaded it, so I've re-processed and am trying again.

(Hmm - still not showing as the original does before upload. It should be a white background and a more hi-key image, most odd. I'll leave it and see if anyone has any suggestions what may be going on)

don't know what's going on so can't offer to many suggestions... is the monitor calibrated? Before I calibrated mine many of the images I posted were not as intended.

looks ok to me(but wite), hope the injuries sustained were only superficial. might have pulled back a bit to show the ambulance chasers in the background!

I've had the same on some of mine Brian. I solved my problem by saving the original, which was in Adobe RGB, as sRGB before saving for web.

Loks ok to me. As for more hi-key - I think you may loose a bit too much detail and therefore detact from the fun of the image. I think it's great just as it is

Looks a little flat to me Brian, have uploaded a mod, but can't tell exactly if it is OK as I still haven't calibrated new monitor.

thanks for finding this amusing too and for leaving comments / mods.

Cheryl - your mod looks more like my original, I don't know whats happened to the uploads.

Nicholas, I don't think its anything to do with the calibration as I am looking at it on the same screen both times and have not had this before with colour or B&W posts

(I was comparing the resized and compressed for web images against that loaded here each time)

It prints out beautifully as a nice neutral image with good contrast.

This looks fine on my screen, like the composition you have and the hi key effect, would make a nice greetings card. Sue

Thanks Skye - I'll have to see what I can dream up.

Glad you approve Cheryl - I'm relieved I'm not the only one who thinks this sort of shot is fun - I did wonder if I was losing it! Smile

I like the highres shot, figures stand out clearly, might suggest increasing the highlights just a bit. Spot on! Click!!!
