Into Lou Reed now are you Kath?🎼🤣!!!! If it's Name That Tune then I'm OK, anything else I would have to cheat and spend all day surfing, lol!!! Great mono, great tones and I do like those rocks in the foreground.

PS. Another earworm in my head now!!!

Oh thanks to you all for your comments and clicks, much appreciated on a cold but sunny day in Lancashire! Leo has already won the prize and henceforth the glorious Pen-y-ghent shall be known as Leosinribblesdale Peak!

The book you keep encouraging me to do Andy...maybe on hold until Spring! WinkWink I shall return with fresh eyes!

The limestone paving is a dead give away Angela and I want you on my team if I'm ever in a pub quiz! Yes guilty as charged, love a bit of Lou!

Pen-y-ghent is the lowest of all the three peaks and I think its rawness is suited to B/W.

Great Capture, I recognized it as Pen-y-ghent I remember climbing up there many years ago, wish I could still do it. Thanks for the memories.
A great B/W Kath. A superb image.

It's either Ingleborough or Pen-Y-Gent, I believe... 😃 A lovely mono shot, Kath, whichever it is 👍🏻
I'm guessing the next song title will be Another Brick In The Wall... 📀🎵

Even though I have no idea what a lot of the comments mean (since I am Canadian), I am in love with this dark and dangerous-looking landscaper with its slices and dices and looming-over-all modified drumlin. Bravo!

Despite the fact that you have already awarded Leo the star prize I shall demand to have my entry considered,(there was no entry deadline mentioned).
AS everyone seems to know which hill this is, it is famous, and I shall take a leaf out of another famous book, and rename this The Hill formerly known as Pen-Y-Gent.
Thanks to the artist formerly known as Prince for the inspiration.Wink

Happy Thanksgiving from across the pond!!

And here’s me thinking it looks like part of The Quiraing on Skye, Kath. Am not pub-team material 🙂 What a fine mono here, though. A winner, yes. I think since Jeremy Clarkson replaced the meister Chris Tarrant on “Millionaire”, they could do with you on that programme! ‘Ask the audience…..’, you’d be well in there 👌

Thank you all for entering into the true spirit of healthy cheating...I mean competition! Wink

Bobby, you have honorary Brit status as you have knowledge of Yorkshire. Also maybe a degree in Geology as you have mentioned a Drumlin?! You are awarded a special star for knowing more about glacial retreat than anyone else!

Malc, calm, Rule 431, paragraph 67, sub section 12, allows for late entries. Especially if you mention Prince and litigation! Sad to say you've still not won but you can have a chocolate. Also Glenn has mentioned Butte, another geological term so our friends across the pond are certainly well up on land formations if not names! HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you all!

Dave, thank you for the compliment, was it a compliment? What a pair to follow, Chris and Jeremy! WinkWink

Thank you to Bobby, Wallace, Glenn and Dave for your Drumlin awards!
