Take-off

Shot captured in late evening light last April while on a birding sortie down by the shore.

I was monitoring a small flock of Gulls on a fishing spree over the creek, and homed in on this Slender-billed Gull as it took a plunge ..... I zoomed in on it the moment it surfaced, obtained a good lockon, composed, releasing the shutter just as it pattered along the surface into take-off ..... bagging this frame in the process. Quite pleased with the action capture securing some nice movement.

Viewing large looks even better.
