Take that look off your face Mildred

By SUE118
Mildred had to be moved from cemetery lake to Ornamental lake as a pair of swans arrived and gave her a beating. The groundsman and I rescued her and moved her but by the look she's giving she's one fed up swan. We are hoping to move her back at some point. Mildred managed to give Ian a thick lip and she gave me a kick on the inside of my thigh. She's a lovely bold gal but the stress of being beaten and the move won't do her any good. The RSPCA are aware and slot of us at the common will be keeping an eye on her.
Many thanks to those who gave awards, voted & commented on Gloria.

The goings-on at the Ornamental Pond - it's a veritable soap opera. Swans lead such complicated lives...
Lovely expression captured, I hope she settles in.

Well done Sue, not sure I would have been able to capture and move a Swan.
Great image though.

Just to say I'm known as the crazy swan lady and the swan porn photographer. I'm not afraid of swans and this is due to the fact that I had a fantastic relationship with a pair of swans which sadley are not alive now. I also can't bear a animal in trouble and distress. Swans can weigh quite a lot but I have learnt over the years to basically go from behind grab the swan and sit on them. Works every time.
