New Bills for Old?

I don't often find myself contriving a photograph; this is one of the exceptions. It's also a selfie, even more of a rarity in my portfolio, though under lockdown I suspect more may be on the cards.

And if you are can't decide which Bill is the real Old Bill . . .

Just to amaze you, I lined up the camera (tripod-mounted!!!!!) using the PEN-F's swivel screen and used the remote trigger on the Olympus smartphone app to trigger the shutter. Originally I tried using the front camera on my phone but the bookshelf is too wide for my arm. The most difficult thing about the entire operation was replacing the books afterwards.

Very well set up and executed, Bill. Selfies don't come much better than this.

It looks like Salvador Dali peering through. Quite a clever idea and well carried out. I wonder why you have two copies of the same book. Is that so Moira can read it at the same time.

It really does help. I like to watch 'whodunnit' dramas like Poirot, Miss Marple, Midsomer, Murders, Vera, etc., and I can view them over again and still enjoy them, and it's better not to be able to remember who actually dunnit (which is 99% of the time), so the rubbish memory helps! 😁
Brilliant idea and capture, Bill. I immediately started reading the book titles from left to right, then spotted the selfie - before continuing on to read the rest... 😁

One belonged to my grandfather. The other was a present from our daughter who was so pleased with herself for finding something that we couldn't possibly have already...

Oh yes, some quite regularly - it all depends on the quality.
