Taking a Break

By NDODS
This image depicting a Morris Dancers fine feather hat resting on a brass trombone during Rochester's annual historical Dickens Festival, reminds me somewhat of the iconic Vietnam War image of the GI's helmet resting on his upturned rifle in order to mark the position of his dead body. The fore mentioned festival attracts people from across the country and even farther afield. Weather permitting you can often bag a camera full of images.

Well observed! It makes a highly amusing image. I think I'd prefer it if the background was blurred though.

I flicked over to this shot and thought it was a photograph of a bird... when i scrolled down it was a hat! I agree, blurred out background would make the hat stand out much better and getting the ribbon in if you could! Thanks, amelia
