Talisker Beach

By Philpot
Thanks to Les and Ryan for their Awards for my last picture of Lochan na h-Achlaise.

Here's one from a 5 and a half hour visit to Talisker Bay, we got there as planned at low tide and stayed until just after sunset, we knew this location had amazing black sand amongst the white. The patterns left by the receding tides hours before where for the most untrodden in, and made for great foreground interest, Unfortunately a bit of a blue sky day so left as much of that out of the frame as possible. Had to contend with very bright lighting and very harsh reflections of the sun at the point this was taken.

Hope you've all had a good Easter break and manged to get out. KR Phil
