I was rather taken with this carving/staue - call it what you will. It was the splits and lichen growing on it that really gave it character.
The 2nd shot is a view of the figure at the bottom of the pole. I thought that one had a real presence with the dark eye sockets

Can't think where this is in East Kilbride. Like the diagonal, and how you've given a sense of height.

So you finally killed the model and the is the gravel stone, be honest.
I don't have trouble with my models Paul. They do as they are told without answering back
Never heard it called a gravel stone before.
I know this fella, my girlfriend lives quite close to there, we;ve been a few times.
Like how you've captured the essence of the statue.
