Award Shortlist

I was very grateful to everyone who voted or commented on Through The Esses, and especially to Ian, Bob, Pavan, Alan and Rob, who were kind enough to give their awards.
This is a tangle of vegetation I came across on our evening constitutional a couple of days ago, which looked especially inviting in the way the light was falling on it. Following Malc's (Saltireblue) lead a few days ago, I have tried to present this in a manner inspired by, but hopefully not slavishly copying, a style I often admire on here. Thanks for looking.

This is lovely Allan, it really grabs your attention and I like the skeletal look with the light catching it. Very nicely presented, too!!

Nicely back-lit. Works very well with the dark surroundings...
Now, I wonder who you inspired by here?Wink
Glad my little exercise has inspired at least one other photographer to try it.Smile

Tops. The out of focus background echoes the subjects form perfectly. Exquisite light and colour.
Nicely done Allan, the sharp focus and the dark background really make it zing.
