Tea & Tart

By conrad
Redbush Tea and Apricot Tart, to be exact.

I was going for the Country Living look here.

Not sure if the selective focus idea was a good one, but apart from that uncertainty I quite like it myself. Although I'm sure some of you will be able to shoot holes in my theory that this works.

So - let's hear it: comments/critiques and mods welcome!

Thanks for looking...

I like this Conrad, and exactly for the same reasons you do as well. Its definatly got potential and its a perfect image for a greetings card or as you say Country Living. Smile

A couple of little niggles and they are only slight. It would look great in Portrait format or a square one (sorry, its the greetings card whiz coming out in me Wink ) This way you would get the table legs and a little bit more of the chair, more of the background directly behind the table too.

You would lose the stuff from the sides that dont add to the image.

Also, I would make it so that EVERYTHING was in focus and not just use selective focusing.

Im sorry Conrad if this is really strange crit, but Im looking at it from a point of view of an image for a greetings card.

Have a nice day Smile

Actually, I think you make perfect sense, Lee. I'll see if anything fitting this description, or close to it, is in my collection. Watch this space! And thanks...

Looks like a nice time. I might have preferred the tart in focus, but I donīt really know

Have uploaded a mod to show a slightly different crop, and toned down the whites a little.

Watch out for that Lee, she's gonna turn every shot on ePZ into a card Wink

LOL! So now it's not only chocolate box-type shots that we have to look out for, but also Lee turning them into cards! Tbh, I don't think I have any objections to cards... Thanks for the mod, Cheryl, toning down the whites is something I just didn't think of. Good idea.

Peter - That's just like me, I also wasn't sure whether I should have done that or not. Thanks for commenting!
