Redbush Tea and Apricot Tart, to be exact.
I was going for the Country Living look here.
Not sure if the selective focus idea was a good one, but apart from that uncertainty I quite like it myself. Although I'm sure some of you will be able to shoot holes in my theory that this works.
So - let's hear it: comments/critiques and mods welcome!
Thanks for looking...

a nice shot, wish i could reach out and eat the food on the plate. Must go and put the kettle on.
I think it is a delightful shot.
I think youv captured it well, hmmmm, never had an apricot tart, sounds good, Chuck
I like this Conrad, and exactly for the same reasons you do as well. Its definatly got potential and its a perfect image for a greetings card or as you say Country Living.
A couple of little niggles and they are only slight. It would look great in Portrait format or a square one (sorry, its the greetings card whiz coming out in me ) This way you would get the table legs and a little bit more of the chair, more of the background directly behind the table too.
You would lose the stuff from the sides that dont add to the image.
Also, I would make it so that EVERYTHING was in focus and not just use selective focusing.
Im sorry Conrad if this is really strange crit, but Im looking at it from a point of view of an image for a greetings card.
Have a nice day
Actually, I think you make perfect sense, Lee. I'll see if anything fitting this description, or close to it, is in my collection. Watch this space! And thanks...
Thanks Conrad, make sure you do cos I will be watching Ive just dug out an image on a card that belongs to the National Trust and its resemblence proves Im right
did a mod, enjoyed this picture, Chuck
Almost like a greeting card, Chuck - thanks!
Well composed, colourfull.
Looks like a nice time. I might have preferred the tart in focus, but I don´t really know
Have uploaded a mod to show a slightly different crop, and toned down the whites a little.
Watch out for that Lee, she's gonna turn every shot on ePZ into a card
LOL! So now it's not only chocolate box-type shots that we have to look out for, but also Lee turning them into cards! Tbh, I don't think I have any objections to cards... Thanks for the mod, Cheryl, toning down the whites is something I just didn't think of. Good idea.
Peter - That's just like me, I also wasn't sure whether I should have done that or not. Thanks for commenting!
PMSL Im watching you Conrad
