Katriena - It's a composite of a few photos. I layered a photo sitting in the chair on top of a photo of the empty chair in photoshop then erased the hands and face from the top layer. For the empty collar and cuffs I took photos of parts of the empty shirt and added them on top. It's basically just a case of using lots layers and layer masks - same for the teapot and shadow.
