A closer view of a section of the statues. As you can see in my previous image of the whole display, they are all in trenches with walls around so you can't get too close but a little zooming allows more detail.
I t must have been some spectacle when it was originally finish - these would all have had some sort of spear and been painted too - a very interesting place to visit - lucky you
