Terracotta Warriors

Four images taken on a recent visit to see The Terracotta Army at Liverpool's World Museum; I will upload more over the next week or so.

If you have an opportunity to visit this amazing display, you will not be disappointed.

The lead image shows a projected image of an Armoured General behind statues of a Heavy Infantryman to the left and a Light Infantryman on the right.

V1 shows a 'portrait' of an armoured general; V2 shows the various ranks of Chinese soldiers from the Qin Dynasty.

The final version is included to give some information which you may find of interest - apologies for the right hand side being out of focus - the image has been rotated through 90°, was taken at a bit of an angle and, at f/4, the depth of field was not wide enough to get everything in focus.

These are excellent captures Richard. We had planned to go by train but since the timetable change it is difficult to get anywhere from Cumbria without a delay or cancellation I can't see it happening Sad. Thank you for sharing, a wonderful narrative too.

Excellent captures Richard. When you next upload could you please tell us how tall these figures are. Are they man size? I thought they were but the figures in V2 look smaller. Is this so, or just a trick of the eye?
